  14. Rather than editing all these files, you can also pass a variable to
  15. make which defines NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T:

  17.     make XDEFS=-DNO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T

  19. On the other hand, it would be nice if autoconf could handle this.
  20. Most of systems that I install web2c on need the NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T
  21. anyway - one could also say that they *don't* need the FOIL_X_WCHAR_T
  22. hack.  But since everybody uses SunOS 4.1.x, the default setting is to
  23. use it.  Sigh.
